I am SO BLESSED to have married into this AMAZING family!!!
My niece, Kate, just got married to Marcus, who we’ve known for years + we all adore him!
This wedding was different for me than most. I was a GUEST. Not the photographer, but a guest. It was WONDERFUL! Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my job! But there are times when I just want to LIVE life, rather than photograph it. (You other photographers know what I mean.) But as I strolled around, chatting with family + friends, I couldn’t help myself… I found myself snapping a few shots here + there, making sure to not get in the way of the photographer-on-duty. And of course, staying out of her way meant not taking photos of the bride + groom. So what I ended up with was a handful of images of my FABULOUS family members + their ADORABLE children, but hardly any images of the wedding party, including Marcus + Kate. But I’m sure their photographer, Elizabeth K, did a wonderful job.
Here are some of the images I took of my INCREDIBLY FUN family, along with shots of the BEAUTIFUL decor that Kate + my sister-in-law Beth worked so hard on…

One of my other nieces, Erica, has a son, Addison (left). He is a HOOT!!! This kid, in a split second, can come up with the most hilarious one-liners you’ve ever heard! We’ve been home for a week now + I’m still busting up at his quotes in my head!

Winston got some very cool glow-in-the-dark glasses at the reception…

Kate had NINE flower girls! All ADORABLE!!!

Beth (right) is the mother of the bride + my sister-in-law. She’s SUPER CREATIVE + she helped Kate with all of the decor for the wedding. I think she ought to go into the party planning business! And I’d join her, if she didn’t live so far away!

Just before the ceremony started, I looked back + saw my nephew’s son, Finnegan. He’s such a CUTIE!
