I first photographed Stacy last August. He was used as a model in an adorable little shoot titled “Green Gables“. (You can see those photos HERE.)
Stacy was FABULOUS to work with, so I was thrilled when he contacted me wanting to get more shots for his modeling portfolio. We headed out last Friday afternoon to a few different locations in Raleigh. Stacy had chosen the locations ahead of time + boy, did he choose good ones! I wish I could photograph in locations like this every time!

Near the end of our shoot, we met some singers / dancers who seemed to be out on their own photo shoot. They looked so amazingly stylish, I just had to incorporate them into a few shots!

Ok, let me start by saying… THIS IS ONE OF MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE boy photo shoots. When Joey contacted me about photos, I was thrilled, because I LOVE photographing creative people, + he’s certainly one of them! Joey plays keyboard on our church worship team + he’s wanting to pursue an acting/singing career. I’m thrilled for him + thrilled that I can be a part of his journey. Here are a few of the shots from my shoot with the amazing Joey…

Bella Jane Originals is a SUPER cute line of little girls’ clothing… dresses, hats + headbands. They are one of a kind creations, made by Mary Fulkerson, + made from vintage textiles such as old quilts or even men’s shirts.
A few days ago, I met up with Mary, along with my good friend Sheila, 4 ADORABLE little models + some fun props from Medleyanna’s. Here are a few photos from our shoot…

I just had the most delightful little shoot! And my good friend, Ashley Thornton, organized the entire thing! She chose models + styled them, she found an adorable location + she picked out the most perfect little props. My job was SO easy!… Just show up + take photos. WOW!!! I LOVE having AMAZINGLY TALENTED friends like Ashley!

An ADORABLE little cupcake shop, C.Cups Cupcakery, is opening it’s doors today for the first time! They’re located in Southern Pines on Pennsylvania Ave, across the street from the park.
Last week I received a call from Janell Canino, the shop’s owner, wanting some photos of her cupcakes. A few days later, we met at her shop, along with some of her fabulous cupcakes + her delightful children as models…
The C.Cups Cupcakery will be open 10:00am – 5:30pm Wednesday – Saturday, + Sunday noon – 4:00pm. So head on over for some yummy delights!
